Oh what fun...

This week we have been preparing for our little man's first Christmas!  We have been decking the halls!  The tree is up and decorated.  The lights are up!  Parties have been had.  Now all we have to do is wait for Ol' St. Nick to make his way down the chimney!

My first present!

What do you mean I have to wait?

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas...

This weekend, the Deahl household has gotten into the Christmas spirit!  Jackson can't wait to see decorate the tree!  We visited a local Christmas tree farm to cut down our very first family Christmas tree.  It was so much fun.  We walked all over that Christmas tree lot until we had that Clark Griswold, angels singing moment.  Unfortunately, that did not happen as all the trees we loved were too big!  We did end up with a beautiful tree and thank goodness we chose a smaller tree!  The star barely fits at the top!  Check out the pictures of our adventure!

6 Months

Our little one is 6 months old!  Half a year! And I just can't believe it.  Sometimes I just sit and just can't comprehend what has happened over the last 12 months.  We have this wonderful little being that has made our life so amazing.

Jackson is just the happiest, smiliest (I know, not a word) little kid.  His latest achievement is sitting!  And he is getting quite good at it.  He is weighing it at a whopping 20.5 lbs and is 28" tall, 90th percentile of both.  His head, however, is now "off the charts" at 19 in.  The good news is that his flat spot is getting better and our doctor no longer thinks he is a helmet candidate.  YAY!  He has had 2 ear infections over the last 2 weeks, making for some rough nights.  Luckily he is all better and back to sleeping through the night.  He sleeps anywhere from 10-12 hours a night.  He is as curious as ever and wants to touch everything.  His little teeth are coming in great and we expect more soon!  Jackson is so excited about Christmas, as you will see in my next post.  Meanwhile, enjoy our little photo session.

Happy Birthday Nana!

We had a very special birthday this weekend.  Jackson's Nana celebrated her birthday Sunday.  We wish we could have been there to celebrate with the whole family.  Happy Brithday Nana!  We hope it was a fantastic day for a lovely lady!
