34 Weeks!

What do you think?  Is LBD growing or what?

How far along: 34 Weeks
Maternity clothes? Yes.
Stretch marks? Still none!
Sleep? Sleep is getting harder.  I am up pretty often to go to the bathroom.  I find myself lying awake for 10-15 minutes at a time too.
Best moment last week?  Child birthing class.  I know that sounds strange.  Who wants to go spend 8 hours on a Saturday learning about child birthing?  This girl!  It was nice to get to know all of the hospital procedures.  Up until now, I haven't really given a lot of thought about what will happen when I get to meet LBD.  The class really got me excited and made me realize how close we are to the end!
Least favorite moment last week? Realizing my walks with Jake may soon be a thing of the past, at least for a little bit.  Sometimes, there is so much pressure on my pelvis that it gets uncomfortable.
Movement? Lots of movement!  His movements are a little lower, so I think he is starting to drop, but I can't really tell.  I'm also feeling a lot more pressure in my pelvis.
Food cravings? This week it has been ice cream.  Cold Stone, to be exact.  :)
Gender? Boy
Labor signs? No.
Belly button in/out? Still in.
What I miss? Sitting outside and enjoying a nice glass of wine.
What I am looking forward to: My 34 week appointment is Friday.  Eric's parents are coming this weekend, so it is sure to be a fun weekend!  Next weekend, my little sister Ashley is graduating from Alabama and our close friends Brandy and Trey are getting married.  The next couple of weeks are going to be so busy, but a ton of fun!

33 Weeks

Only 7 weeks and counting!  Luckily, there isn't much to report.  My doctor's appointment was uneventful.  I am going every two weeks now, so I will be back next Friday.  LBD has definitely found his groove.  He seems to love to hang out in my rib area!  I have no idea how he can get any bigger without breaking something in there!  I have finally been able to differentiate movement from hiccups.  LBD gets the hiccups A LOT!  I don't have a picture this week, but you can check out what he is going to be up to this month:

Your Baby: Month 8

Baby’s senses are continuing to improve -- when light peeks in through your (extremely) stretched belly, those tiny eyelids and irises blink and dilate. And, baby can now recognize and react to simple songs… time to start practicing your lullabies! Growth (at least inside your womb) is starting to slow, and you may notice baby descend into your pelvis at the end of this month.

Only the Best Get Crowned! Happy 100 Years to Nu Chapter!

This weekend we went to Tuscaloosa to celebrate 100 years of ZTA Nu Chapter!  It was so much fun to get to catch up with my sisters!  I don't think I have laughed that hard in a long time!  I have been out of school for 4 years now and I can't believe how old I felt going back.

Oh, and we can't forget that it was A-Day this weekend!  Yay for Alabama football!

32 Weeks!

Only 8 short weeks left and we still have a lot to do!  We still have to finish the nursery, attend child birth class, pick a day care, finish the registry, tour the hospital, get work ready for my leave and tons of other little details.  It's really starting to get real now!  It even gets scarier thinking that we are going to be busy the next 4 weekends.  Eek!

How far along: 32 Weeks
Total weight gain/loss?  Not sure still.
Maternity clothes? Yes.
Stretch marks? Nope.  Crossing my fingers that I'll get lucky!
Sleep? I'm sleeping well except that I am now getting up 4-5 times a night to go to the restroom.  That can get tiring!
Best moment last week? Dropping off our chair to get upholstered.  We finally got it out of our living room.  Yay!
Least favorite moment last week? I don't really have a least favorite part.  Maybe, work? :)
Movement? LBD has been a little crazy lately.  He really likes my rib area, so sitting can be really uncomfortable sometimes.
Food cravings? I've finally had some real cravings lately.  Smoothies!  That's all I want.  Smoothies and fruit juice.
Gender? Boy
Labor signs? No.
Belly button in/out? Still in.
What I miss? Buckling my shoes :(
What I am looking forward to: My 32 weeks appointment is this week.  Plus, this weekend is A-Day and ZTA Nu Chapter's 100 year anniversary.  I can't wait to catch up with my pledge class and sisters I haven't seen since college!
Milestones: Nothing major to report this week, just lots of growing!  I feel like LBD had another growth spurt this week.

31 Weeks! 9 to go!

It's so hard to believe that in just two months, there will be a new member of our family!  We just can't wait to meet him, hug him, kiss him, and spoil him!  There isn't much to report this week.  My swelling isn't as bad as last week, so I am thankful for that.  The weather has been beautiful, so I have been able to get out and walk.  I think it has helped.

I had a doctors appointment last week.  It was pretty uneventful.  My tummy is measuring "beautifully" according to the doctor.  I am now onto biweekly appointments!  It feels like it so close, yet so far away still.  I know he will be here before I know it, so I am just going to enjoy being pregnant for the next two months!
