7 Weeks

Jackson is getting so big!  He is 7 weeks now.  I can't believe we are approaching the 2 month mark.

This week was his first weekend trip to Huntsville.  He was able to meet lots of new people this weekend!  Check out all of my visitors!

Jackson got a little toy from Disney World from Jeff, Nina and Kasey.  I think he is going to be a Mickey fan :)  

Jackson had so much fun at Mimi and Papa's new house, that we decided to stay a couple extra days.  He had so much fun!

6 Weeks

Jackson turned 6 weeks this week and it was a very busy week!  Daddy went out of town for the week and we missed him a lot!  Luckily, Mimi and Ashley came into town to help us out.  Jackson was a very hungry boy last week, so the extra help was definitely appreciated!  This week Jackson got to go to the pool for the first time, we went to the lake, and he even helped Aunt Ashley pick out her wedding dress!  It was such a fun week. 

As of today, I only have two more weeks at home with my little man and I am going to try to make the most of it!  It already brings tears to my eyes just thinking about it :(

One week

One Month Appointment

Our little one had his one month appointment today.  He is in great shape!  He weighs 10 lbs 7 oz, which is pretty impressive since he lost so much weight in the first couple of weeks.  We had his one month appointment after 5 weeks, so it is cheating just a bit.  His length is 22 inches and his head is 16 cm.  He is in the 75th percentile for all three.  That means we have a very proportionate baby :)

Happy One Month!

Happy one month Jackson!  We have had a great first month with Jackson.  It hasn't always been easy, but I feel like we are finally getting the hang of this parenting thing.  Jackson is starting to be much more alert and spending more time during the day awake (and sometimes night!).  He seems to get bigger every day.  We can't wait to see how he has grown at his one month appointment.  So far, he loves lights and big bold stripes.  He tries so hard to hold his head up.  When we do tummy time he does his best to scoot himself with his feet.  He is really going to be a mover!
