Weekend Visitors

This weekend we had some special visitors.  Mimi, Papa and Aunt Ashley came to visit!  We had a wonderful time and the weather was beautiful!  Mimi and Papa were nice enough to watch Jackson while Ashley and I went to get pampered at the spa.  It was very much needed!  We even got to venture out on the town Saturday night!  It was a great weekend and we are sad it went by so quickly!  We can't wait for the next visit.

Spring is finally here!

We had a great weekend.  Our friends Trey and Brandy came to visit and it was so much fun.  We spent time with good friends all day Saturday and enjoyed B-E-A-U-tiful weather!

Boo-boo

Jackson got his very first boo-boo.  It's a paper cut.  Poor little thing, but he was back in action after a band aid!

9 Months!

Jackson is now 9 months old!  You won't believe how he is growing!  I can't believe that I have to start planning his first birthday party soon!  

Jackson continues to amaze us.  He has the most pleasant personality.  He is always smiling and loves being social.  He is so close to crawling!  Though he isn't crawling yet, he is somewhat mobile by scooting and leaning.  He has 3 bottom teeth and will soon have a top tooth!  He is dabbling with finger foods like noodles, mushy apples and egg yolks.  His favorite is puffs.  We are working on the sippy cup, but he still mostly uses it for a chew toy.  He is babbling all the time.  He has started pointing at things and is so curious about the world around him.

At his 9 month appointment, our sweet little man weighed in at a whopping 23.5 lbs.  He is 30 inches long and  his head is 19.75 cm.  He continues to be in the 95th percentile for height and weight, but is still off the charts in head size.  He is a healthy happy BIG guy!
