Last but not least, here are some pictures from the photo booth at the wedding.  The first set didn't go as planned.  Jackson proceed to puke everywhere mid way through our photo shoot.  Hence the unstoppable laughter from mom and dad!  Luckily we got a second shot at it!

Road Trip!

This weekend we had another busy weekend!  We took a road trip with the whole Deahl fam to Indiana for cousin Ted's wedding.  We got to stay with Jackson's great uncle Scott and great aunt Gloria.  They had lots of fun things to play with like a pool table, karaoke machine and Daddy's favorite car, a 2011 Chevy Camaro!  We decided to do the driving at night so king Jackson could get his beauty sleep :)  He did great!  He slept the whole way there and back!

Friday we went to a pumpkin patch to have a mini photo shoot.  Jackson loved all the pumpkins and pretty fall colors!  Then we took him to his first playground and he had his first whirl in a swing!  He loved it!  Saturday was kind of a rough day for the little one.  He was running a fever, still getting over his cold, teething, and a few other gross things on which I won't elaborate.  He took a good nap and was ready to go to the wedding.  He was dressed to the nines and ready to party!  He loved looking at the stained glass windows in the church and was a little angel during the ceremony.  We had a great time at the reception and Jackson got to meet so many of his Deahl relatives, including great uncles John and Brad!  Unfortunately, I had a mommy brain moment and forgot to put the charged battery in the camera before we left for the wedding.  I will post more pictures when I get them from Grandma Deahl.  Until then, here is the first half of the pictures from our weekend.  Enjoy!

Busy Busy

We have been busy, busy bees over the last several days!  Eric went out of town over the weekend, so MiMi came to visit!  Jackson loved playing with MiMi all weekend and Mommy loved that she finally got some chores done around the house (sad, I know!).  We went to the movie in our neighborhood park on Friday night.  We played, cleaned and watched some football Saturday and Sunday.  We even enjoyed a nice stroll.

We have also had two firsts this week.  First cold (bummer) and first try of solid foods (yay!).    Jackson seems to be handling both pretty well.  Here are some shots from our weekend:

4 Months

Our little one is 4 months old today and growing like a weed!  He has been such a blessing to me and Eric and our families.  His little personality is showing more and more each day.  He is such a happy boy!  He is quite the chatty one too.  He is starting to teeth, but it hasn't been too bad yet.  He is still sleeping through the night and sleeps 10-11 hours if we let him!  He rolls from tummy to back, but not consistently yet.  He holds his bottle really well now.  When we lay him down he tries with everything he has to pull himself up to a sitting position.  He has found his feet and will stare at them as if he is trying to figure out how to get those things in his mouth.  Speaking of that, he puts everything in his mouth now.  His favorite right now is Jerry the Giraffe and fingers (his or otherwise).

We had his 4 month doctor's appointment today.  He is weighing in at a whopping 16 lbs 14 oz!  He is 26 1/8 inches long and his head is 17 3/4 cm.  He is in the 75-90 percentile on all three.  According to the doctor, his noggin' in his best asset. :)  Unfortunately, he has a bit of a flat spot that we are going to monitor.  Hopefully with more tummy time that will round out.  We also got the green light for solids.  We will probably start those in the coming weeks, so expect some entertaining pictures!  In the meantime, check out our 4 month photo shoot:

Happy 4 months!

Bama Bound!

This weekend we made it back down to T-town to cheer on the Tide!  This time the weather was a lot more cooperative.  No random rain showers and more importantly, no 100 degree weather!  It was nice and cool all day!  Jackson had a blast and he even got to meet Big Al!

Jackson and Mommy took a typical trip to the grocery store.  Imagine our surprise when we find John Parker Wilson, former QB for the Tide, at our Publix signing autographs!  Unfortunately, I had nothing for him to sign, except my houndstooth purse.  I asked him if he would take a pic with Jackson and he quickly said "Do you want me to hold him?"  He was great with Jackson!  Jackson really enjoyed this chance meeting and chatted it up with JPW about his future as the Alabama QB in 2030 :)
