One Year Photos

I know this is very late, but I've been meaning to post these for a while. Whitney, a friend from high school, took some pictures of Jackson for his birthday. She did a great job, even though J-man was not in the best of moods! You may be able to tell in some of the pictures. It was right around bedtime and taking pictures was not what he wanted to do. Busy Busy

Hi all! Gosh we have been busy! It feels like we have been constantly going all summer, but we are having a blast! Last weekend, Mimi and Papa came to visit. Eric and I had a date night Friday night. It is so nice to be able to get out and have some time to ourselves. Jackson had a great time with Mimi and Papa! Jackson still loves being outside. He will play and play until he is red in the face from the heat, but will still cry when we take him inside! Boy, we cannot wait for the fall! We took him to the pool Saturday and he finally seems to be enjoying pool time! He spent the time "swimming" between Mommy and Daddy. Aunt Ashley came to town too, so we had a girls night Saturday night and then lunch on Sunday. It was a wonderful weekend!

This past weekend, we had a movie night in the park on Friday night. Jackson loved being out in the park! He was dancing to the music and roaming free in the open field. We ended the weekend with some swing time! Daddy finally got up his swing the backyard and Jackson loves it. I can already tell we will be spending a lot of time in it!

Lake Vacation

It has been a while, again! We seem to be constantly be busy now that Jackson is an active TODDLER! Last week we were fortunate enough to take a vacation to the lake. We rented a house with the Deahl clan and had a blast! Even Aunt Steph and Uncle Shawn flew down to spend the week with us! Six months is too long! We got lots of visitors while we were there. We saw Great Grandpa Kendall and GG Patty. We also got a visit from Great Uncle Joe and family!

We had a wonderful time! There was lots of shopping, golfing, yummy food, stair climbing, playing the lake, and just relaxing and having some laughs with family! I wish we could go back, but unfortunately we have to get back into the swing of things! Enjoy our pictures!
