Tybee Part 1

It has been a month since we have been back from Tybee and yes, I am just now getting to posting all the pictures.  We all had a blast at the beach, minus the strep throat outbreak.  Luckily, the three of us missed out on the sickness.  We enjoyed exploring the town, spending time with family and ramping up for the big day at the end of the week!

After a short 30 minute period of hating the beach (Jackson kept saying "All done beach"), he fell in love with the beach.  He loved playing, kicking, jumping and splashing in the water.  Jackson would refer to it as "my beach."  We went to Savannah for a day and had a blast walking around River Street.  We had great weather, though very hot!  Here are some of the pictures from the first half of the week.  The pictures I have from the wedding are coming soon!

"Me Gasses" - The kid would not go anywhere without his glasses.  He would put his glasses on and say "Go to the beach!"

Fun Photo for your Tuesday!

I know it has been a while and I will be posting about our summer vacation/wedding week very soon.  In the meantime, I want to share a funny pic of the J-man after a pool evening one day.  This is after a pool day when Jackson wasn't really fond of pool days :)  He has warmed up to the pool, which is a big relief to mommy and daddy!

Ka-Chow!

I'll start with the stats.  At Jackson's 2 year appointment he weighed 28 lbs 15 ounces (50-75%), he is 36 inches tall (70-90%)  and his head circumference is still off the charts.  He is one healthy guy considering his eating habits are hit and miss.  Though anything he can dip, he will eat.  He loves dipping in ketchup or honey.

He runs almost everywhere we go now.  He can count to 10 and sort of sing along with the ABCs.  He loves pointing out animals and making their sounds.  He repeats everything we say.  He loves watching "TB" or TV, which we try to limit, but he is always asking "TB on?"  He loves Mickey, Thomas, Yo Gabba Gabba and, his favorite of the moment, Cars!

So of course his party had to be Cars themed.  I know its less for him and more for me at this point, but he had a great time!  All of his buddies came over to celebrate.  It was a beautiful day!  Here are some of the pics from the day.

Happy 2nd Birthday!

Happy 2nd Birthday Jackson!  It amazes me that Jackson is already two!  He is so big and so fun!  He is such a joy to watch.  We are so blessed that he came into our lives two years ago!

Beach Time!

Oh how we love the beach!  Last weekend, Mimi, Jackson and I took a little trip to see Aunt Ashley in Destin.  Oh we had a blast; just wish the weekend wasn't so short!
