New Addition

We are so excited to announce we are expecting a new addition in the Deahl household!  We are expecting a baby girl in June.  It's really hard to believe we are already over half way through this pregnancy.

The little lady has been moving a lot over the last week or two.  Eric has even been able to feel her move from the outside.  It's so special to be able to go through pregnancy again.  People keep asking me if this pregnancy has been any different.  So far it is been very similar, though I was quite a bit more nauseous in the 1st trimester.  I do feel like I am carried this baby a little differently.  We will see as time goes on.

Jackson is going to be such a great big brother and this little girl is going to be so spoiled :)  Here are the first belly pics and our ultrasound pictures.  I wouldn't normally post all of the u/s pictures, but I think it is really cool to see how the baby grows from being a tiny tiny blob to looking like an actual baby.

Merry Christmas from the Deahl's!

Oh Christmas time is such a wonderful time.  It is especially fun with a toddler who is just mesmerized by the all lights, glitter, and shiny objects that comes with the season.  Jackson had so much fun this Christmas season.  We enjoyed a nice little break at Mimi and Papa's house.  Jackson really got the hang of opening "pwesents" this year.  He wasn't a huge fan of seeing Santa though.  Here are some pictures from the season!

Picking out a Christmas tree!  Jackson likes the BIG one; he's got some Griswold in him after all.

This one's it!  Notice it was warm enough for short sleeves while picking out a Christmas tree.  Crazy!

Turkey Day!

Alrighty...here is another apology from the bad blogger!  The holiday season has been super busy!  Now that it is coming to an end and we are well into a new year, I plan to get you guys caught up on the happenings in the Deahl household.  I'll start with Thanksgiving.  We had a wonderful long break at the Deahl's.  We visited with family, ate way too much and relaxed!

Big Day in T-Town

Usually, on a Saturday in the fall you will find us in Tuscaloosa tailgating for the Crimson Tide games.  This year, we only hosted one tailgate!  I can't believe it!  We chose a fun one to go to, even though Bama didn't pull off the win.  Mimi, Papa and aunt Ashley came too, which made it extra fun!  We even got special visits from Mary Ann and Pat!  Fun times!  Here are some pictures from our weekend.

Happy Birthday Mimi!

Happy Halloween!

We love this time of year!  The smells, the changing leaves, the cooler weather... It all gets kicked off with Halloween!  Jackson had got to spend the weekend with Grandma and Grandpa.  They took him to a pumpkin patch and had a blast!  There was so much to see!  His favorite had to be the petting zoo.  He loved petting the bunnies!

Jackson had a wonderful Halloween!  This year, he actually understood the whole Trick or Treat concept.  I picked him up from school and he told me he was ready to "go Trick or Treat, get candy."  He could have trick or treated all night!

Picking out a pumpkin with Mommy and yet, it was warm enough to wear shorts!

Hm...I like this one!
