9 Months!

The stats:

Weight - 18 lbs 1oz (25-50th percentile)

Height - 28 3/16 in (50-75 percentile) - your doctor likes to be exact in his measurements

Head - 18 in (90th percentile)

New skills: Lots of movement! Oh my gosh, when you made up your mind to move, you went for it and never looked back! You were always a wiggly worm, so we knew you wanted to move. Within a week and half's time, you started crawling, pulling up and cruising. You can't stay still and we can't keep up now. You see something you want, especially the open pantry, you go for it! 

You also learned to roll a ball. Jackson thinks this is so great. He said "I am happy of her" the first time you rolled the ball together. So cute! I'm loving that you two play so well together, for now.

Teeth: No teeth...all that teething and nothing to show for it yet.

Eyes: We think you eyes have landed on hazel. Sometimes they look blue, sometimes gray, sometimes greenish brown. I suppose they could still change, but right now, the changing colors are so beautiful!

Words: Now that I can say for sure that you have said "Mama", your first word was indeed Dada. You said Dada a little over a month ago. But you have also said Mama on purpose a time or two recently.

You are getting so big! As much as I want you to stay tiny, I do love this age. There is so much to discover and learn. You are so sweet. You love giving hugs and leaning your head on my shoulder. I just wish it could last forever. You sometimes give big slobbery kisses. I love every one of them, so does Jackson. You are so happy and friendly. I can't believe we are in the final quarter of your first year! Now it's time to start planning that joint b'day party!

200th Post - A Major Catch Up!

Get ready for massive picture overload! I have been a bad bad blogger, but to be fair, it has not been an easy start to 2014. I was surprised when I logged in to see that I have posted 199 entries on this blog. That seems crazy to me! I thought, what would be better than doing one huge catch up post for my 200th post. 7 Months!

Happy 7 Months sweet girl!

You are such a happy little girl. All the teachers at school marvel that they never see you upset! You are getting really good at rolling around. You may never crawl since you are so good at getting where you need to go by rolling. I am convinced you hate laying on your back. It makes changing you very challenging! You love to talk and babble on and on. Most of all, you LOVE your brother Jackson. He can make you giggle like no one else. It melts my heart!

Your are still a little bit. You can still fit in your 3-6 month clothes. You still wear a size 1 shoe. I swear you have been in the same shoe for 3-4 months. It's the only way to keep socks on your feet! You still don't have any teeth. You have been teething for a while, but no progress yet!

We love you sweet girl! You are always smiling and happy. You make every day better!

6 Months

Happy half birthday sweet girl! You weigh 15 lbs 5 oz (25-50 percentile) and 26 inches long (50 percentile). Your head is in the 90th percentile. You are such a happy girl. You love to smile and flirt. You are very observant and love to watch people. You are still such a wiggler. When you start to crawl, you are going to be everywhere! You are constantly kicking your legs, which makes changing you a real challenge. You are sitting by yourself, and doing a pretty good job at it! You can roll back to front, but sometimes you forget that you can roll back over once on your tummy. That makes you a little upset :) We are working our way through table food. So far you only have baby food twice a day. 

You are such a joy and make everyone around you so happy! We love you sweet girl!
