Happy Mother's Day

I had a wonderful first Mother's Day!  We took the weekend to visit Eric's family in Charlotte.  Jackson got to meet his Great Uncle Eric and Aunt Louise at cousin Erica's graduation.  We stayed with Uncle Joe and Nick and had a great time!  Sunday we went for breakfast and toured downtown Charlotte.  Then we ate lunch at Jim 'n Nicks. Yum!  On the way home we even stopped for some shopping for Mom :)  How could we resist the outlets?  When we got home, I received very special presents from some very special guys.  It was such a special day and I look forward to many more!

On Monday, Jackson got tubes in both ears.  He was such a little trooper.  He didn't get upset that he couldn't have a bottle.  He didn't even get upset when he was waking up from the anesthesia.  He just opened his big blue eyes and grabbed the bottle of juice and the cute little bear he picked out from the toy chest.  All the nurse's said he was the perfect little patient.  We are so thankful that he had a successful procedure because he already had a nasty double ear infection, after only being off the last round of antibiotics for a few days.

Getting ready to go

All over and doing fine!
