Play time!

We have been having too much fun lately!  Over the last several weeks, we have had play dates, visits from Grandma, school, work, projects, and a visit to Mimi and Papa!  Whew, I'm exhausted just typing it out!

Rocking at Cracker Barrel while waiting on Mimi and Papa (more on that trip in a later post)

Jackson had his Bama buddies over to watch the Penn State game.  The boys had a great time playing outside during half time.

Just chilling out at my carpet picnic!

Grandma came to visit so Mommy and Daddy could get started on their bedroom project!  We had a great time, but I was not in the mood for pictures!

Trying on Dadda's Alabama ring.  Can't wait until I get one!

15 Months, an engagement, and lots and lots of rain!!

Jackson is now 15 months old and growing fast!  Jackson weighs 26 lbs 6 oz and is 32 inches tall.  He's still in the 75-90% and his head is still his best asset (aka off the charts).  He has cut 4 new molars (poor dear), so he has 12 now and more one the way.  His little personality is coming through more and more each day and it is such a joy to see.  He can say a few words, like Momma, Dadda, bye bye and, his personal favorite, more.  He has said other words, but not consistently.  Lately he has become very talkative.  It's just gibberish to us, but he knows exactly what he is saying!  We have also phased out his paci.  He's not a baby anymore!  Small tear.... He is so independent and wants to do everything himself.  The doctor says we are getting a glimpse of his teenage years.  Wow...that makes me feel old!

That was your quick little update on the J-man.  Here are some pics of what we have been up to!

We have some very exciting news.  Jackson is gaining an uncle.  Aunt Steph and Uncle Shawn got engaged in Mexico on a cruise!  We were so happy to get to celebrate with them!

No hands!

Grandma is so funny!

Knee Deep in the Water

We recently got to visit Ashley at her new home: the beach!  We are so jealous!  We rented a condo right on the beach (thank you Mimi and Papa!) and enjoyed 3 awesome days of sun, sand and water!  Jackson loved the beach and even loved being in the water!  We enjoyed great seafood and even did a little shopping.  We just wish we could have spent more time there with family!
