31 Weeks

31 Week Belly Shot! 8 more weeks to go!

Lovely shower for the little lady

Our little girl is already so blessed!  Her two aunts, Steph and Ashley, threw us a shower.  It was such a beautiful event!  You would never know they lived 15 hours from each other!  The food was delicious, decorations were perfect, and the company was even better.  Everyone had a great time.  LBD #2 was showered with wonderful goodies. She will be the best dressed little girl for sure!

Our little family is so blessed to have our family and friends come together to celebrate our new addition.  We could not feel more special!

29 Weeks

29 Weeks - 10 weeks to go!
-Rings still on (YAY!)
-Feet aren't swelling (double-YAY!)
-Still sleeping
-Able to make it to the gym 2-3 times a week
-She is measuring right on track
Thing are feeling good and progressing right along!  The only bummer is I failed my one hour glucose test, so I had to take a 3 hours glucose test.  Still waiting on those results and hoping for good news.  The c-section date is set, which feels very strange.  It's so weird to know her birth date already, though I know she could choose to come earlier.

Catching up with the J-man

We have been so busy, I have not updated you on the goings on with the little man.  Jackson surprises me all the time now.  I know every mom says this, but Jackson is really bright.  I am always surprised but how much he learns at school.  They are like little sponges at this age.  It makes me really grateful that we found a place that can teach him so much.  He loves to run, play with cars, do things on his own, sing, read, all the fun things about being preschool age.

He knows there is a "baby gul" in Mommy's tummy and she will be his sister, but he doesn't really get it yet.  At this age, he is not very conceptual.  It won't make sense or be real to him until she is here.  We still talk about the things he is going to show his baby sister and how we are going to read and sing to her.  I think she already enjoys bed time because I lay with Jackson on his big boy bed and we read and sing and she kicks away.  I'm looking forward to sharing that with both of them in just a couple of months.

Beware of picture overload.  I realized I hadn't really posted any pics since December!
